Eluemunor's consistent performance on the offensive line is vital. The Giants have struggled with offensive line issues for years, which has affected the team's performance. Eluemunor, whose two-year contract is expiring, played a crucial role in helping rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart acclimate to the NFL. In 14 games with Dart as the starter, Eluemunor provided reliable pass protection, allowing Dart to develop and maintain confidence.
Eluemunor's impact is undeniable. He played in all but one game, with 638 pass-blocking snaps, allowing only four sacks and 19 total pressures. His pass-blocking efficiency rate reached 98.0, his best in five years. This performance helped Dart become a reliable pocket passer, which is essential for his growth.
But here's where it gets controversial... While Robinson and others are valuable, the offensive tackle position isn't as deep with talent in the upcoming draft. Replacing Eluemunor could be a significant risk.
