Get ready for a thrilling update from Walt Disney World! The iconic Toy Story Mania entrance archway is undergoing a much-needed restoration, and we've got all the details!
Work on this beloved attraction's entrance has been underway since mid-December, and it's almost complete. The archway, a vibrant gateway to the world of toys, has been refreshed with a special focus on its iconic characters, Jessie and Rex.
But here's where it gets controversial... While Jessie's column was finished first, Rex, our beloved dinosaur, went missing for a few weeks! Thankfully, he's back now, sporting his signature barker hat and bowtie. The decals on both columns look brand new, a refreshing sight compared to the top of the archway.
Despite the ongoing work, the ride remains open, and guests can still enjoy the thrill of Toy Story Mania. And this is the part most people miss: there are still rolling planters in front of each archway, hinting at more work to come.
In other news, a new snack kiosk has opened in Toy Story Land, offering a unique twist on a classic - pepperoni pizza spring rolls! Construction is also underway on new bench seating between Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, providing much-needed rest spots for guests.
